According to the Minister of Finance, the Government has reduced the retail price of RON97 by 5 sen to RM3.28 per litre and reduced the price of diesel in Peninsular Malaysia by 5 sen to RM2.98 per litre from 10 April 2025 to 16 April 2025.
The Government stated that it will continue to monitor market developments and adjust RON97 and diesel fuel’s retail prices based on global oil market fluctuations, whilst supporting price stability.
Therefore, based on the weekly retail pricing of petroleum products using the Automatic Pricing Mechanism (APM) formula, the retail prices of petroleum products from 10 April 2025 to 16 April 2025 are fixed as follows:
- The retail price of RON97 petrol is reduced by 5 sen to RM3.28 per litre;
- The retail price of RON95 petrol remains unchanged at RM2.05 per litre;
- The retail price of diesel in Peninsular Malaysia is reduced by 5 sen to RM2.98 per litre; and
- The retail price of diesel in Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan remains unchanged at RM2.15 per litre.
