According to the Minister of Finance, the Government has set the retail price of RON95 petrol at RM2.60 per litre, RON97 petrol at RM3.21 per litre, and diesel in Peninsular Malaysia at RM2.93 per litre for the period from 30 September 2025 to 6 October 2025.

The Government stated that it will continue to monitor market developments and adjust the retail prices of RON95, RON97, and diesel based on global oil market fluctuations, whilst supporting price stability.

In addition, the Government continues to provide fuel subsidies under the BUDI MADANI (BUDI95) programme, where eligible recipients enjoy a subsidy of RM1.99 per litre for RON95 petrol to help ease the cost of living burden.

Therefore, based on the weekly retail pricing of petroleum products using the Automatic Pricing Mechanism (APM) formula, the retail prices of petroleum products from 30 September 2025 to 6 October 2025 are fixed as follows:

  • The retail price of RON95 petrol is set at RM2.60 per litre;
  • The retail price of RON97 petrol is set at RM3.21 per litre;
  • The retail price of diesel in Peninsular Malaysia is set at RM2.93 per litre; and
  • The retail price of diesel in Sabah, Sarawak, and Labuan remains unchanged at RM2.15 per litre.
